The Way I See Things by Aidan Gunn

My name is Aidan Gunn, I started taking photos when I moved to the Sunshine Coast from Victoria. I brought a gopro to film my mates skating, although not long after I was blessed with some good swell around home. I paddled out with my gopro and stayed in the water until it turned dark, then I started doing this more often. Shooting different places, shooting barrels, surfers, bodyboarders, and getting to know the locals.

 One year went by and I brought my first real camera, having my first taste of photography. Learning exposure and lighting as I started taking photos and videos of the beautiful places the Sunny Coast has to offer. I started shooting things like landscapes, models/people, skaters, really getting to know the ins and outs of the camera. 4 months later I get a housing for my camera and start using the things I've learnt in the water. I became involved with it all, wanting to do it as much as possible. I started to go out in bigger waves and saw people like Harry Bryant and Julian Wilson in the water. It really inspires you seeing people from the Coast do so well outside of it, theres so many creative & talented people from the Coast I'm just doing my thing and having fun with it.
