No Rules by Jose Garcia
My name Jose Garcia and I was born and raised in Canary Islands, Spain. I now call Sydney Australia home, living here for the past 7 years.
My passion for ocean photography started back in 2017, but it wasn’t the first time shooting in the ocean. Everything began a few years back in one of my first Indonesian surf trip with my brother who decided to buy a camera and a water housing to document our trip. My brother is also who I give thanks to for introducing me to the ocean when we were growing up on the island.
I think photography is an art with no rules, everyone interprets it in they own way. Lately I have been really into abstract photography, finding the best moment at sunrises. Shooting waves in slow shutter speed is so much fun and it really gives a different perspective.
Getting into the ocean before the sunrise comes, waiting for the sun to rise and the first light to shine is where I find my happiness.
I love to create art with my images and show people what my eyes see through my camera lens when I'm in the ocean. The most important thing for me it's to enjoy the moment.
I would really love to shoot waves from all over the world.
Now that you know a little bit more about me you can find me on my Instagram.
