Where The Heart Is by Caitlin O'Grady
The sun reflects off the chrystalized water and you get a flare in the blue sky similar to witnessing a shooting star in the day. Large forms portrude from the Earth. They create shadows forcing an indetifiable picture on the world below. This also splits the next form in half; mountain ranges forever hiding little pieces of each other. Never abling to witness the full fledged beauty of the peaks; where there is light, there is darkness on the other side. Maybe that’s why my heart drew me back to live in Canada the second time around. It’s imperfect perfection, satisfying those who soul search to seek peace and freedom in the world.
