From The Mountains To The Ocean by Lena Lina
When I was a little girl growing up in Switzerland, my dad would tell me stories about the world. I loved these moments because I could travel through my imagination. As soon as I was able to read, I devoured his National Geographic magazines. I was fascinated by the articles, but what interested me most was the photographers. They continued to tell me the stories that I had loved as a child.
Once I finished university, I booked a one-way flight to the US and started traveling across the country. I came across countless magical places and met beautiful people from around the world who told me their own tales. That is the moment when I realized that I could share these stories though my camera and take followers on my journey.
For 5 years, I have been traveling across the world. All of the amazing humans I have met have taught me something new about photography or about life. For the past year, I have been living in Australia. As a Swiss mountain girl, I am discovering a completely new world by being on the ocean.
I am currently exploring surfing photography. I like using my pictures to reflect the different emotions that the ocean can make us feel.
