Remnants of Things That Belong In Or Near The Sea by Sea Bones Byron Bay

Born from a mutual love for the ocean and leading a salty life style, renowned photographer Ming Nomchong joined forces with director and founder of Salt Gypsy, Danny Clayton to bring the dream of Sea Bones to life. After seeing the gap in the market for a store stocking local and independent labels for ladies who love surfing and surf culture, Sea Bones became a reality and opened its doors in early 2017. After the success of a Pop-up in a quiet corner of Byron Bay, the girls decided to continue the journey of ‘The Bones’ with a permanent location in the center of Town, you will find the shop on Fletcher Street, just one street back from the sea.

The vision of Sea Bones is to celebrate a coastal lifestyle through showcasing independent labels such as Sunday Supply co, Atmosea, Omness, The Saint Helena, Opia, Arthur Apparel, Elwood, Will & Bear, Kawaiian Lion, Samudra, Onepeace swim, Eurvin swim, Salt Gypsy, Epokhe sunglasses, Slowtide towels, Surfmud, Good Wax surf wax, Byron Bay Skin Care, We are feel good inc., The Great State, Smart leash, Captain fin co, Mctavish Surfboards, Dead Kooks, Ways Away Surfboards, Da fin, Jadefish Handplanes and  plenty more.

Collectively, the belief in the value of independent design, unique style and the importance of small businesses in the local economies is the core ethos of the eclectic store.

Always with a fun, flirty and salty atmosphere, Sea Bones is a fun place to drop by and have a chat with the girls in store about anything surf, environmental, music, art or dog related (often you will find one of our four legged pals on the couch).  Majority of the products available in the store are also on the online store for those folk who can't access the store too. With a true love affair for bygone eras, Hawaii, salty air and road trips, Sea Bones is a place where everyone who likes to take life in the slow lane will feel right at home.
