YOURS
Fish Out Of Water by Ollie McAuliffe
Some are from North Sumatra, sitting on the boat shooting the most perfect right hander. Running along razor sharp reef this wave demands respect, one small mistake is costly.
The Lure Of The Sea by Bogo Bug
Having grown up landlocked with the nearest shoreline at a considerable distance I guess my introduction to saltwatery spheres, coastal culture, oceanic occultism and the infinite joys of the sea can hardly be called an intuitive act.
Tasmania In The Winter by Katey Shearer
When winter takes over, the swell rises, the water ripples a mess and you pat the dust off your gloves, hood and booties. To some, this is a dread. The water is less inviting and you sit in the car with your heater on, eyes procrastinating on the frosty liquid blues and yearning for the warmer days.
Changes by Chris Gollhofer
For the last three years I started my days with thoughts like "Why am I here and not there?" or "Why do I work in a job I am not satisfied in?" These types of questions followed me all day long, sometimes also all night.
From The Mountains To The Ocean by Lena Lina
When I was a little girl growing up in Switzerland, my dad would tell me stories about the world. I loved these moments because I could travel through my imagination.
My Two Loves by Nuno Santos
My name is Nuno Santos, I'm from Portugal and I'm 42 years old. The love of surfing appeard when I was 13 years old, where I could spend hours in the water with my friends surfing, later on I fall in love for photography.
Refined Sugar by Adriana Beach
I got my first film camera when I was 17, I was working at a little vintage shop in Fremantle, Australia. My boss told me I could pick just one thing from the shop as my Christmas present and I knew straight away my best friend for the summer was going to be the little red and black Canon AF-50 in the window.
Blessed by Willie Kessel
I don't know where I start tying to describe my work. Art is such a subjective thing….I shoot and I leave the rest to whom ever wants to look, hopefully it moves someone.
Ocean Lovers by Marcel Boer
I am Marcel Boer, Film photographer from Cologne, Germany. I might be addicted to this surf culture in case of the fact that I love skateboarding and we are just surfers as will right, but with 4 wheels on the street.
Six Hours by Thomas Bourget
I was born and raised in Quebec City, Canada. I've been shooting surf photography for about a year now. Because there is no surf in Quebec City, I don't often have the opportunity to shoot in the water; the closest break is in Maine.
Free Reign To Write by Sheridan Dixon
We all have a vision, it starts early and it’s always there. This vision is going to make us happy, it’s going to give us the life we want to live and it’s going to take us to so many magical places.
Single Fin Mingle 2019 by Casey Ripper
Thick clouds line the mountain silhouettes as first light slips through a gap in the frosty mist.
Rays of pink & red soaring across the plains illuminating Aotearoa’s highest peak.
Halfway into our 450km into our journey to the Mingle, we’re treated to a vivid sunrise over Aoraki - Mount Cook.
Behind The Shaper Exhibition
Wow. What a night it was on 24th May in Melbourne at 524 Flinders. We held our very first exhibition with URBNSURF - Behind The Shaper. Tickets were sold out and the venue was at a 400 strong capacity. We had $5 beers from the legends at Noble Boy Beer as well as hangover cure Bae Juice being given out to all attendees to ward off those nasty Saturday morning hangovers. Tunes were pumping thanks to legend DJ Tim Koren, who well and truly got the dance floor heaving.
Summer Surf Series by Brook McKeon
All the pics are in Victoria and have something to do with surfing, but I was also trying to make a bit of a documentation of what these locations were like in the summer of 2018/19 as the changing world is making the sharing of locations easier and we are seeing special locations flocked to like never before, which will only continue..
Mirian by Emy Dossett
I first noticed Mirian’s graceful style when I was out photographing early one morning in Sayulita. She glided past me on her beautiful turquoise board, dancing around in the waves. I immediately became mesmerised with capturing her in the glistening sun as it bounced around her.
